Salmon Ceviche


Salmon Ceviche

Today I bring such a delicious salad/appetizer that screams flavor and it is so easy to make that you'll be hooked and making it very often. Just looking at it brings a smile to my face.

This recipe yields 1 portion.

Ingredients:

Half of grapefruit (sliced)

Half of an orange (sliced)

Half of an avocado (sciled)

150 gr. of fresh salmon

1/2 cup of red beet juice

The juice of a lime

1 tablespoon of salt

1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar

Salt and Pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon of coconut flakes

Directions:

1. Marinate the salmon in the beet juice with lime juice, salt and brown sugar for 30 minutes. This will cook the raw salmon.

2. In a flat plate arrange in a artistic way the grapefruit slices, orange and avocado. Sprinkle some salt and pepper and a little lime on the avocado.

3. Remove the salmon from the marinate, dry the salmon with a kitchen towel paper, and slice as thinly as you can. Place on the plate and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Eat immediately.

Tips:

1. Adding hot peppers and red onions is highly recommended.

2. Banana chips makes for a nice crunchy factor to this recipe.
